Mastercard Asia Pacific, North Sydney

2000m2 state of the art fitout for Mastercard Asia pacific headquarters, spread over 2 floors in the new Innovation Place building a 5 star ABGR.

The fitout is a "4 Star" green fitout, of which the final Green Star submission to the Green Building Council of Australia is nearing finality.

JDV Projects were awarded the head contract, on a platform of value offering, experience, track record with Mastercard and ability to manage the complex Green Star operational aspects of the construction process.

Some features of the fitout include;

  • 2 comprehensive kitchens/breakout areas
  • Flexible meeting rooms, with operable wall divisions
  • Sliding Glass doors to all offices/meeting rooms
  • C-Bus lighting controls with motion sensors
  • Large Computer room with temperature and humidity control
  • Stone reception area including floors, reception desk and features columns
  • Comprehensive Audio visual/video conferencing solution to meeting rooms

JDV Project's contract value included the entire project works encompassing fitout, partitions, joinery, workstations, loose furniture, stonework/tiling, flooring systems, operable walls, comprehensive computer room, electrical/data installation, fire service, air conditioning, hydraulic service, security/access control, audio visual installations.

In excess of 80% of all construction waste by weight, was sorted and recycled.

The project ran strictly to program and the client relocation date was achieved.

Encompass Credit Union – Westfield Parramatta

JDV Group provided a comprehensive procurement service to our client Encompass Credit Union.

JDV Management assumed Project Management responsibilities, including

  • Design & documentation management
  • Statutory approvals and consents
  • Initial cost planning and cost engineering to budget
  • Westfield Liaison, design Co-ordination and approvals

JDV Projects assumed head contractor responsibilities and were responsible for the entire construction process from commencement to handover.

The client brief was to minimise the time the branch was closed & subsequent inconvenience to members.

The Branch was closed for a period of 4 weeks and was demolished back to a concrete shell.

A complete new fitout and shopfront was then completed.

Long Lead time items were identified as critical path & significant off-site joinery fabrication was commenced prior to starting on site.

Most importantly the new Branch opened on the scheduled program date and the project ran to budget.

JDV Projects were appointed head contractor to the project to manage the building refurbishment and complete shop fitout. Works included construction of new toilets and amenities, and core building environment followed by comprehensive retail fitout and all external signage.

JDV Projects undertook significant cost engineering in consultation with designer and client to ensure the project budget constraints were met.

The Pharmacy was opened precisely on the scheduled date.

JDV Management provided complete Project Management Services including Appointment of design team, Design Management, Statutory Approvals including Development Application, cost planning and management.

JDV Projects was appointed as fitout contractor and completed the entire construction and fitout of the tenancy including construction and finishes, all services, including electrical, data, hydraulics, Audio visual, supplementary air conditioning, workstations and loose furniture.

The project was completed in a total 4 week on site construction period.

JDV Projects provided a complete project service for Tempest Media, including design management, statutory approvals, cost planning, construction and relocation planning/management. The project was completed in a 4 week on-site time frame, and included offices, kitchen/breakout room, workstations, reception, boardroom including audio visual etc, soft seating etc.

A comprehensive refurbishment and rebuild of 3 floors within an existing building in Crows Nest. Stage 1 involved the complete internal demolition of level 1 and 2 to achieve a concrete shell, thence comprehensive reconstruction of the building interiors, including new sound recording and mixing studios, sound insulated recording booths, general office areas, bathrooms, kitchens, equipment rooms, and new building services, air conditioning, electrical services.

Stage 2 involved a complete demolition and reconstruction of the ground floor, including new recording studios, reception, meeting rooms, new amenities, staff kitchen and new air conditioning and electrical installations. JDV worked closely with Tracks Television to ensure that programming and construction sequencing allowed recording operations on level 2 and 3 could continue.

Construction of a new 80 seat training facility in North Sydney, occupying an entire floor. The project consisted of 8 training rooms, staff breakout, reception, administration offices, computer room and student lounge area. Loose furnishing included fabrication of specialized training desks, lounges and seating.

A supplementary multi-zone air conditioning system was installed to cater for the increased population density on the floor.

Comprehensive audio/visual systems were installed into each training room.

JDV Projects managed the entire design, statutory approvals construction and relocation on behalf of Seek Learning.

The project was completed to a very tight time schedule through the Christmas period. To ensure that the training centre was operational by mid January.

Conversion of a 1,200 m2 older warehouse into a modern office and design facility for Berlei apparel.

The project involved the complete installation of new fire sprinkler system, air conditioning, ceilings lighting, floor finishes and comprehensive interior fitout.

Included in the project was construction of new male and female amenities, new reception and waiting area.

A new presentation and display centre was also constructed including catering facilities, operable division walls, providing a range of flexible room sizes. A comprehensive audio visual system was included in the display area.

Construction involved the complete internal demolition and strip out of existing 4 storey building plus addition of another floor. Comprehensive new building services including air conditioning, hydraulics and electrical services.

The Kippax St façade was also replaced with an Alucobond façade incorporating new windows and shopfronts.

Complete fitout of each floor was undertaken including construction of toilets and change rooms for a Health and Fitness Gymnasium.

Construction of 16 unit industrial a complex, comprising a range of various industrial units, including 2 mezzanine areas to selected units. Poor quality subsoil conditions were overcome with driven timber piles.

The complex constructed entirely of tilt up concrete wall construction provided a new level of quality in the industrial estate market in Port Macquarie.

A comprehensive and complete refurbishment and fitout of the Sydney breast clinic, including complete replacement of male and female toilets, construction of "state of the art" consulting rooms, and screening/scanning rooms, comprehensive lift lobby upgrade including stone floor finishes.

The project required the division of the works into 4 stages. A detailed mater program was developed to allow the clinic to remain open during the entire project. All noisy and disruptive works were undertaken outside the clinic operating hours.

Staff were progressively relocated with temporary communications services provided.
