Mastercard Asia Pacific, North Sydney

Brief:

Relocation of MasterCard’s Asia Pacific headquarters 2000m2 state of the art fit out, over 2 floors in the new Innovation Place building a 5 star ABGR building. The fit out has subsequently been awarded a “4 Star As-built rating” by the GBCA. In excess of 80% of all construction waste by weight was sorted on site and recycled.

JDV Projects were awarded the head contract, on a platform of value offering, experience, track record with MasterCard and ability to manage the complex Green Star operational aspects of the construction process. The project ran strictly to program & budget and the client relocation date was achieved.

SEEK Ltd, 80 Pacific Hwy North Sydney

Brief:

JDV Projects were awarded the lump sum fit out for new Sydney offices. 3 Floors with a total area 3,300m2

Working with the Melbourne based design and client project team, the project was delivered in 10 weeks.

Features included a substantial controlled environment Comms room with VESDA fire detection and Gas suppression system.

3 breakout/staff retreat environments were also created along with various meeting facilities equipped with audio visual conferencing& supplementary air conditioning.

Encompass Credit Union – Westfield Parramatta

Brief:

JDV Group provided a comprehensive procurement & delivery service. JDV Management assumed Project Management responsibilities, including Design & documentation management, statutory approvals & consents, cost planning, Westfield Liaison, design Co-ordination and approvals.

The client brief was to minimise the time the branch was closed & subsequent inconvenience to members.

JDV Projects undertook the construction; the branch was closed for a period of 4 weeks only. Completely demolished to a concrete shell thence a complete new fit out and shopfront was completed on time and to budget.

Pulse Pharmacy Double Bay

Brief:

JDV Projects were appointed head contractor to the project to manage the building refurbishment and complete shop fit out. Works included construction of new toilets and amenities, and core building environment followed by comprehensive retail fit out and all external signage.

JDV Projects undertook significant cost engineering in consultation with the designer and client to ensure the project budget constraints were met.

The Pharmacy was opened precisely on the scheduled date.

Sydney Breast Clinic, Sydney

Brief:

A comprehensive and complete refurbishment and fit out of the Sydney breast clinic, including complete replacement of male and female toilets, construction of "state of the art" consulting rooms, and screening/scanning rooms, comprehensive lift lobby upgrade including stone floor finishes.

The project required the division of the works into 4 stages. A detailed mater program was developed to allow the clinic to remain open during the entire project. All noisy and disruptive works were undertaken outside the clinic operating hours.

Staffs were progressively relocated with temporary communications services provided to each stage.

TP3 / Pollak Learning - Parramatta
Designer – GlasgowHart

Brief:

The client’s brief was to complete a significant refurbishment of their training and education facility over the Christmas holiday period.

The JDV Projects team ensured all lead time orders were resolved and with careful planning, the project was completed in a 2 week on-site program.

Project features included new floor coverings throughout, new audio visual installations, student breakout areas, kitchen, painting signage a graphics throughout.

Tennant Metals – Sydney City
Designer – SIREN Design

Brief:

SIREN Design created a cutting edge environment for Tennant Metals, and JDV Projects were privileged to be awarded the contract to realise this vision.

JDV Projects worked closely with the design team and client to value engineer a result within the clients project budget.

Located in the heritage listed Grafton Bond building in Sydney the predominantly open plan environment capitalised on the existing building fabric, accentuated by distinctive & dramatic fit out elements such as reception, conference and breakout areas.

Norwest Pregnancy and Women’s Health

Brief:

Creation of new gynaecological and obstetrics practice within a 150m2 tenancy in Norwest Private Hospital.

JDV Projects undertook a comprehensive design and construct lump sum contract including all statutory consents and approvals. The fit out included a procedure room, consulting rooms, staff amenities and reception from a concrete shell.

The JDV Projects design team worked closely with the client on space planning and ergonomics to create an environment of functionality and harmony. Every detail was carefully considered and incorporated in the final layout.

EXPO 112

Brief:

The project comprised the subdivision of large warehouse space into various tenancy configurations and retail outlets in an EXPO/wholesale environment as and when tenancies are either leased or sold. Each tenancy construction involves

  • Construction of 8m high division walls
  • Mezzanine floor construction and access stairs
  • Air conditioning, Hydraulic and electrical services
  • Tennant fit out & finishes, include joinery, floor coverings and shopfronts

Tracks Television and Post Production

Brief:

A comprehensive refurbishment and rebuild of 3 floors within an existing building in Crows Nest. Stage 1 involved the complete internal demolition of level 1 and 2 to achieve a concrete shell, thence comprehensive reconstruction of the building interiors, including new sound recording and mixing studios, sound insulated recording booths, general office areas, bathrooms, kitchens, equipment rooms, and new building services, air conditioning, electrical services.

Stage 2 involved a complete demolition and reconstruction of the ground floor, including new recording studios, reception, meeting rooms, new amenities, staff kitchen and new air conditioning and electrical installations. JDV worked closely with Tracks Television to ensure that programming and construction sequencing allowed recording operations on level 2 and 3 could continue.

Dynamic Web Training by Seek Learning

Brief:

Construction of a new 80 seat 700m2 training facility in North Sydney, occupying an entire floor.

Project features included a supplementary multi-zone air conditioning system installed to cater for the increased population density on the floor and comprehensive audio/visual systems installed into each training room.

JDV Projects managed the entire design, statutory approvals construction and relocation on behalf of Seek Learning. The project was completed to a very tight time schedule through the Christmas period, to ensure that the training centre was operational by mid January.

Berlei (Bonds Industries)

Brief:

Conversion of a 1,200 m2 90 year old warehouse into a modern office and design facility for Berlei apparel.

The project involved the complete installation of new fire sprinkler system, air conditioning, ceilings lighting, floor finishes and comprehensive interior fit out.

A new presentation and display centre was also constructed including catering facilities, operable division walls, providing a range of flexible room sizes.

A complete reception refurbishment completed the project.

Contract Value: $1.35 Million

Enterprise Centre, Port Macquarie

Brief:

Construction of 16 unit industrial a complex, comprising a range of various industrial units, including 2 mezzanine areas to selected units. Poor quality subsoil conditions were overcome with driven timber piles.

The complex constructed entirely of tilt up concrete wall construction provided a new level of quality in the industrial estate market in Port Macquarie.

83-97 Kippax St, Surry Hills

Brief:

The Project involved the complete internal demolition and strip out of existing 5 storey building. With new windows and facade replacement, new roof plant areas, new building entry lobby and finishes.

The project involved the complete installation of new fire sprinkler system, air conditioning, ceilings lighting, floor finishes and comprehensive interior fit out.

Works also included the installation of a second passenger lift, and replacement of original lift, comprehensive new building services including air conditioning, hydraulics and electrical services, division of floors into 3 tenancies per floor.

The project was managed from inception by JDV Group who provided complete management services to the client through to completion.

58 Kippax St, Surry Hills

Brief:

The project was managed from inception to completion by JDV Group who provided comprehensive management services to the client through to completion.

Construction involved the complete internal demolition and strip out of existing 4 storey building plus addition of another floor. Comprehensive new building services including air conditioning, hydraulics and electrical services.

The Kippax St façade was also replaced with an Alucobond façade incorporating new windows and shopfronts. Complete fit out of each floor was undertaken including construction of toilets and change rooms for a Health and Fitness Gymnasium.

Tempest Media

Brief:

A comprehensive fit out of 420m2, located on Level 11 of the prestigious Maritime trade Towers, 201 Kent St Sydney

JDV Projects provided a complete project service for Tempest Media, including design management, statutory approvals, cost planning, construction and relocation planning/management. The project was completed in a 4 week on-site time frame, and included offices, kitchen/breakout room, workstations, reception, boardroom including audio visual etc, soft seating etc.

Prime City Properties
C/- Meridian Property Management

Brief:

JDV Projects were appointed to design and construct the complete refurbishment of all bathrooms/toilets in this 8 level occupied office building in St Leonards.

The project was completed in 4 sequential stages; each stage required 2 bathrooms to be completed simultaneously in a 3 week program.

The existing bathrooms were completely gutted & refitted with the addition of showers to each level. Features included electronic flush urinals, water efficient tap ware and movement active lighting

JDV Property Group – Port Macquarie NSW

Brief:

The project involved the complete internal demolition of an Arcade building, with only the 2 side walls and roof remaining

The building was substantially reconstructed as a single use Discount Pharmacy, a new concrete floor installed, all services were replaced including electrical, plumbing and air conditioning, a new shopfront installed and a comprehensive internal fit out.

The construction was completed in 10 weeks.
